European Youth Parliament already in Armenia
European Youth Parliament represents an independent educational project in the scope of which 16-24 year-old youngsters are gathered in the format of European Parliament to tackle the issues EU faces today and present the resolutions in the respective committees during the General Assembly. Furthermore, the resolutions are sent to EU Commission in the form of the recommendation. The activities of the European Youth Parliament are conducted in English language.
      
       European Youth Parliament has its representatives in 36 European Countries. Armenian students are coordinated  by Suzanna Shamakhyan and Hovsep Patvakanyan and have today been awarded the status of an EYP Initiative in Armenia, several hours ago we have received the decision by the Governing Body of EYP upon confirming status of EYP Initiative in Armenia. This will let Armenian representation to organize events in the name of EYP from now on. And in the long run after the final approval to be involved in the international sessions as EYP Armenia.

       It is worth to mention that EYP Board Member Dr Alan  Flowers, from Kingston University, London, is paying a visit to Armenia from August 2 - 9 to meet the EYP team in Armenia, to discuss future activities within the Initiative, and to promote the European Youth Parliament education NGO to youth of ages 16 - 20 in Armenia.
